For Life Insurance Agents ·
What you'll accomplish
By the end of this guide, you'll have a system for generating a month's worth of LinkedIn and Facebook content in under 90 minutes — educational posts that attract referrals and leads without feeling salesy. You'll also have a set of evergreen content "archetypes" you can reuse forever.
What you'll need
Open ChatGPT and set your context:
I'm a life insurance agent specializing in [your focus — e.g., "term and permanent life for families in the [region] area" or "final expense for seniors" or "business life insurance for small business owners"].
My target audience on LinkedIn and Facebook is [describe your ideal prospect].
I want to build a content system that positions me as a trusted educator — not a salesperson — and generates referrals and inbound interest.
Then ask:
Give me 10 content "archetypes" — recurring themes I can post about regularly that will be valuable to my audience without being product pitches. For each archetype, give a brief description and an example post idea.
Save the archetype list — this is your permanent content calendar framework.
Now ask ChatGPT to write 20 posts at once (5 posts per week for 4 weeks):
Using these archetypes [paste your list], write 20 LinkedIn posts for a life insurance agent. Mix of short (under 100 words) and medium (150-200 words). Educational, conversational, not salesy. End each with either a question to invite comments or a subtle CTA. Here are 20 topics to cover: [list 20 specific angles from your archetype list].
This generates a month of content in under 5 minutes.
ChatGPT writes in a generic professional tone. Go through each post and:
Spend 1–2 minutes per post personalizing. This step is critical — your authentic voice is what converts followers to clients.
Copy your finalized posts into a simple spreadsheet (Date | Platform | Post Text | Status). Schedule at least 3–4 posts per week consistently. You can use Canva's publish feature, Buffer (free), or LinkedIn's native scheduling to post in advance.
On the first Sunday of each month, open ChatGPT and say:
I need 20 more LinkedIn/Facebook posts for next month. Same audience: [target]. Here are 20 new topics or angles: [list]. Use these archetypes from before: [paste archetype list]. Keep it fresh — don't repeat topics from last month.
Monthly batch generation:
Write 20 [LinkedIn/Facebook] posts for a life insurance agent focused on [your specialty]. Audience: [target]. Keep educational, conversational, varied lengths. End with a question or soft CTA.
Myth-busting post series:
Write 5 posts debunking common life insurance myths for [audience]. Keep each under 150 words. End with a question.
Life event triggers post series:
Write 5 posts about life events that should trigger a life insurance review: marriage, new baby, mortgage, business launch, aging parents. Educational, relatable, end with a question.
Story-based post (high engagement):
Write a [LinkedIn/Facebook] post that tells a brief, anonymized client story about why life insurance mattered — not tragic, but a real example of someone who was glad they had it. Under 200 words. Emotional but not exploitative.
Tip-of-the-week series:
Write 4 "did you know" life insurance tip posts for [audience]. Each should be surprising or counterintuitive. Under 100 words each.
